A lot of people are moving to Windsor and other places in Northern Colorado. With so much interest in the Fort Collins area we often have to answer the question: Is Windsor Colorado a good place to live? You’ll find the simple answer in this video:

Obviously, there are many reasons why Windsor, CO is a good place to live. I live in -Windsor, CO and chose to move here from another Northern Colorado community due to the small town feel, close proximity to everything Northern Colorado has to offer and for slightly less hustle and bustle that you’ll get in Fort Collins or Greeley, Colorado.

My kids go to Windsor High School. The teachers are good, the education is great and the athlectics programs are top-notch. It is good to be a Windsor Wizard. The Windsor Middle School and elementary schools are great too.

One of my favorite things about living in Windsor, CO is the fact that Windsor Lake is right in the middle of town. On Windsor Lake you can kayak, paddle board, water ski, fish and more. There is a beach area where they rent boats and a bike path all the way around the lake. There are many great outdoor adventure opportunities right in the center of town.

What about restaurants and bars? Yes, Windsor, Colorado has that too. Check out our great breweries such as Peculier Ales and Mash Lab but also the Windsor Mill Tavern, 404 Exchange and coming soon…William Olivers.
